Karachi Safari Park is situated on Main University Road, covering an area of 300 acres (1.2 km2). The creation of an independent Zoo, Safari and Aquarium department followed in 1995.
Karachi Safari Park is now an independent wing of the Community Development Department of City District Government of Karachi. It has been designated as a Family Park.
There is a theme park called Go Aish Adventure Park[1] also running in Safari Park; another amusement section called Aladin Park is also a part of Safari Park.
